Fiscal Note
As stated in the Employment Agreement between the City of Madison and Mahanth S. Joishy, the Fleet Service Superindent's initial year's salary will be based on a total annualized rate of $123,983 effective July 11th, 2017. The Fleet Service's 2017 operating budget includes sufficient funding for the costs. Annual salary adjustments may be made during the term of the agreement at the Mayor's discretion, subject to Common Council approval.

Body
WHEREAS, Mayor Soglin has appointed Mahanth S. Joishy to the position of Fleet Service Superintendent and has recommended to the Common Council that his appointment be confirmed; and
WHEREAS, the parties have reached an accord on the terms and conditions of an Employment Agreement between the City and Mr. Joishy,
NOW THEREFORE, be resolved that Mr. Joishy's appointment to the position of Fleet Service Superintendent is hereby confirmed, and the Mayor and the City Clerk’s office are authorized to execute an Employment Agreement between the City and Mr. Joishy.
