As stated in the Employment Agreement between the City of Madison and Tana Elias, the Library Director salary will be based on an annualized rate of $150,000. Funding for this position is available in the Library’s 2024 Adopted Operating Budget.

Submitting the appointment of Tana Elias for confirmation of a five-year term as the Madison Public Library Director.
Body
WHEREAS, the Mayor has appointed Tana Elias to the position of Library Director and has recommended to the Common Council that their appointment be confirmed; and,
WHEREAS, the parties have reached an accord on the terms and conditions of an Employment Agreement between the City and Ms. Elias
NOW THEREFORE, be resolved that Ms. Elias’s appointment to the position of Library Director is hereby confirmed, and the Mayor and the City Clerk’s Office are authorized to execute an Employment Agreement between the City and Ms. Elias.
