The proposed resolution amends the Parks Division 2023 adopted capital budget for the Cannonball Path Shred to School project and the Aldo Leopold Park Paved Pump Track project, both within the Park Facility Improvement Program, by $62,500 and $125,000 respectively to appropriate funding received from the Dane County Parks’ PARC & Ride Grant Program.

SUBSTITUTE - Amend the Parks Division 2022 2023 Capital Budget to allow for acceptance of two Dane County PARC & Ride grants totaling $187,500.
Body
WHEREAS, resolution 66185 authorized the application and acceptance of the PARC & Ride Grant for the Cannonball Path Shred to School project; and,
WHEREAS, resolution 65834 authorized the application and acceptance of the PARK & Ride Grant for the Aldo Leopold Park Paved Pump Track project; and
WHEREAS, Dane County has awarded a grant to the City of Madison Parks Division for the Cannonball Path Shred to School project in the amount of $62,500; and,
WHEREAS, Dane County has awarded a grant to the City of Madison Parks Division for the Aldo Leopold Park Paved Pump Track project in the amount of $125,000.00; and,
WHEREAS, the City of Madison Parks Division staff has completed the tasks as required by Dane County to receive the Grants and has, or will, submit final reports to Dane County as required by the Agreement, submit reimbursement requests(s) to Dane County, sign and submit other documentation as necessary to complete the projects per the Agreements.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Parks Division 2023 capital budget is amended to appropriate any $187,500 in grant funds for two Dane County PARC & Ride grants received to be used for the purposes of the grants, including modifications upon appropriate approvals from the funder.
