Fiscal Note

As stated in the Employment Agreement between the City of Madison and Heather E. Stouder, the Planning Division director’s salary will be based on a total annualized rate of $135,000 effective July 18, 2021. The Planning Division director position is approved and funded in the 2021 Adopted Operating Budget. Annual salary adjustments may be made during the term of the agreement at the Mayor’s discretion, subject to Common Council approval.

Body

WHEREAS, Mayor Rhodes-Conaway has appointed  Heather E. Stouder to the position of Planning Division Director and has recommended to the Common Council that her appointment be confirmed; and

WHEREAS, the parties have reached an accord on the terms and conditions of an Employment Agreement between the City and Ms. Stouder,

NOW THEREFORE, be resolved that Ms. Stouder's appointment to the position of Planning Division Director is hereby confirmed, and the Mayor and the City Clerk’s office are authorized to execute an Employment Agreement between the City and Ms. Stouder.
