Reappointing Alder Keith Furman and Alder Tag Evers to the Task Force on Digital Inclusion Strategic Priorities.
Body
WHEREAS on March 30, 2021, the Common Council passed a resolution creating a Task Force on Digital Inclusion Strategic Priorities; and
WHEREAS due to the expiring terms of terms of Alder Furman and Alder Evers, they cannot continue serving on the Task Force until being reappointed to the Task Force; and
WHEREAS, the Resolution creating the Task Force provides that in the event of a vacancy, the Digital Technology Committee and Education Committee appoint alders to the Task Force, but neither committee meets again until mid-May and the Resolution requires the Task Force to complete its work by July 31, resulting in the loss of at least one month of working time;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council reappoints Alder Keith Furman and Alder Tag Evers to the Task Force on Digital Inclusion Strategic Priorities.
