The proposed resolution approves plans and specifications and authorizes the Board of Public Works to advertise and receive bids for Bridge Repairs - 2021. The total estimated cost of the project is $250,000$275,000. Funds are available in Munis 13141-402-200. No additional appropriation is required.

PREAMBLE
The annual bridge inspections have identified the need for repairs on the Alicia Ashman Bridge over Campus Drive. The bridge deck is need of repair, the bridge needs painting and we will apply a polymer overlay to protect the bridge deck. The bridge deck and approach slab are in need of concrete repairs and we will apply a polymer overlay to protect the bridge deck.
BE IT RESOLVED,
1) That the plans and specifications for Bridge Repairs - 2021 be and are hereby approved.
2) That the Board of Public Works be and is hereby authorized to advertise and receive bids for said project.
3) That the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to accept dedication of lands and/or easements from the Developer/Owner for public improvements located outside of existing public fee title or easement right-of-ways.
