Fiscal Note
The proposed resolution authorizes the transfer of three positions (all Administrative Clerks) from DPCED - Office of the Director to the Planning Division and authorizes amending the 2020 Adopted Operating Budget for both agencies so that the position funding for the remainder of fiscal year 2020 follows the transfer of the three positions. No additional City appropriation is required.

Amending the 2020 Adopted Operating Budget to transfer $152,900 in salaries and benefits from DPCED Office of the Director to the Planning Division and transferring 3 positions of Administrative Clerk 1 (#619, #610, and #615) from the DPCED Office of the Director to the Planning Division.
Body
WHEREAS, positions #619, #610, and #615 are currently in the operating budget of the DPCED Office of the Director; and
WHEREAS, these three positions primarily support the Planning Division; and
WHEREAS, one of these positions provides coverage for the Planning Division reception desk; and
WHEREAS, having these positions report directly to the Planning Division managers will increase operational efficiency;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, positions #619, #610, and #615, of Administrative Clerk 1 be transferred from the DPCED Office of the Director operating budget to the Planning Division operating budget, thereof;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, the 2020 Adopted Operating Budget is amended to transfer $152,900 in salaries and benefits from the Department of Planning, Community, and Economic Development - Office of the Director to the Planning Division.
