Commending and thanking Alderperson Sally Rohrer for her dedicated service to her constituents in District 8 and the City of Madison.

Body

WHEREAS, Alderperson Sally Rohrer was appointed by the Common Council on November 5, 2019 to represent the 8th Aldermanic District; and,

 

WHEREAS, during her tenure Alderperson Rohrer served on the Committee on the Environment, Downtown Coordinating Committee, Joint Campus Area  Committee, Landlord and Tenant Issues Committee and the Madison Food Policy Council; and,

 

WHEREAS, Alderperson Rohrer worked on issues including the Alcohol Overlay District, distribution of plastic straws and stir sticks, improving district engagement including modifying the Downtown Coordinating Committee by adding one student from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and helping with the organization of the Council’s response and recovery to COVID-19 efforts; and,

 

WHEREAS, Alderperson Rohrer through her tireless dedication to her aldermanic duties has faithfully and with honor served her District 8 constituents and the City of Madison,

 

NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Mayor and the Common Council commend and thank Alderperson Sally Rohrer for her dedicated service to her constituents in District 8 and the City of Madison and wish her well in all her future endeavors.
