Fiscal Note
This proposed resolution approves plan documents for the South Park Street pavement repair project at a total estimated cost of $2,850,000. In the adopted 2019 capital budget $1,650,000 GO Borrowing was authorized in 2019 for the first phase of construction on the stretch of Park Street starting at Badger Road to the railroad tracks. Awarding of any project contract will be contingent on common council approval of a subsequent resolution amending the adopted 2019 capital budget for a transfer of $1,200,000 GO Borrowing within Engineering Major Streets capital budget to cover the updated cost estimate of the project.

PREAMBLE
The project will consist of concrete repairs on only the northbound lanes of South Park Street from West Badger Road to the railroad crossing and from West Olin Avenue to West Washington Avenue.
BE IT RESOLVED,
1) That the plans and specifications for South Park Street Concrete Pavement Repairs - 2019, be and are hereby approved.
2) That the Board of Public Works be and is hereby authorized to advertise and receive bids for said project
3) That the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to sign and grant easements or right-of-way release or procurement documents, maintenance agreements or encroachment agreements, as necessary and grant or accept dedication of lands and/or easements from/to the Developer/Owner for public improvements located outside of existing public fee title or easement right-of-ways.
