Amending Section 28.071(2)(a) of the Madison General Ordinances to update the Downtown Height Map.

DRAFTER'S ANALYSIS: This amendment adds a note to the downtown height map to clarify that the six (6) story height limit extends 132 feet back from the State Street right-of-way line on the south side of State Street.

The Common Council of the City of Madison do hereby ordain as follows:
Subdivision (a) entitled “Downtown Height Map of Subsection (2) entitled “Downtown Height and Stepback Requirements” of Section 28.071 entitled “General Provisions for Downtown and Urban Districts” of the Madison General Ordinances is amended to reflect an updated Downtown Height Map.
