Fiscal Note

The proposed resolution authorizes the Board of Public Works to receive bids for Garver Feed Mill material hauling. The estimated cost is $180,000. Resolution RES-17-00664 adopted on August 1, 2017, amended the Parks Division Capital Budget by adding $1,600,000 in GO Borrowing for the environmental remediation and site restoration costs to close the environmental investigation of the Garver Feed Mill, and other necessary associated costs to complete the project (Munis project 17169). Funding is available in the project.

BE IT RESOLVED,

 

1)                     That the plans and specifications for Garver Feed Mill Material Hauling, be and are hereby approved.

 

2)                     That the Board of Public Works be and is hereby authorized to advertise and receive bids for said project.

 

3)                     That the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to sign and grant easements or right-of-way release or procurement documents, maintenance agreements or encroachment agreements, as necessary and grant or accept dedication of lands and/or easements from/to the Developer/Owner for public improvements located outside of existing public fee title or easement right-of-ways.
