Fiscal Note

The proposed resolution approves plan documents for the Bikeways 2017 improvements to the Southwest Commuter Path and Wingra Creek Path at an estimated cost of $50,000. Engineering Pedestrian & Bicycle has sufficient budget authority for the work in the adopted 2017 capital budget via the Bikeways Program (MUNIS 10138) whichs is established for the bicycle related improvements throughout the City including resurfacing of existing bike paths. Funding is provided by GO borrowing.

Body

BE IT RESOLVED,

 

1)                     That the plans and specifications for Bikeways 2017, be and are hereby approved.

 

2)                     That the Board of Public Works be and is hereby authorized to advertise and receive bids for said project.

 

3)                     That the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to sign and grant easements or right-of-way release or procurement documents, maintenance agreements or encroachment agreements, as necessary and grant or accept dedication of lands and/or easements from/to the Developer/Owner for public improvements located outside of existing public fee title or easement right-of-ways.
