Correcting the 2017 SEED Grant awarded to Elver Park Farmer’s Market, Inc.
Body
WHEREAS, the Common Council adopted Resolution RES-17-00212 (ID #46532) on 3/23/2017, authorizing the Mayor and the City Clerk to execute agreements with the 2017 SEED grant recipients as described in that resolution; and,
WHEREAS, the resolution awarded $4,400 to the Wisconsin Youth Company, Inc. as fiscal agent for Prairie Hills and Madison West Neighborhood Association for a project entitled “Elver’s Park Farmer’s Market” and,
WHEREAS, since the time of applying for this funding, the Elver Park Farmer’s Market has now incorporated and this funding is no longer being funneled through those neighborhood associations; and,
WHEREAS, despite having recently incorporated, Elver Park Farmer’s Market will be working through a fiscal agent to start out and wishes to receive this funding through the Madison Parks Foundation and the Parks Foundation has agreed to serve as fiscal agent for these purposes; and,
WHEREAS, the amount of funding and the work to be done has not changed from the original approved proposal.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Mayor and City Clerk are authorized to execute an agreement with Madison Parks Foundation, Inc. as fiscal agent for the Elver Park Farmer’s Market, Inc., for the project entitled “Elver’s Park Farmer’s Market” as described in RES-17-00212.
