Fiscal Note

In the adopted 2016 capital budget the Stormwater Utility budgeted $100,000 for the dredging of retention ponds and other stormwater features within the Dredging Projects program (MUNIS 11315).  The minor project for the Monona Bay weed cutter dredging is established with sufficient budget authority for this proposed resolution (MUNIS 11351).  Funding is provided by GO borrowing.

 

The proposed resolution approves plan documents at a total estimated cost of $70,200.

Body

BE IT RESOLVED,

 

1)                     That the plans and specifications for Monona Bay Weed Cutter Dredging, be and are hereby approved.

 

2)                     That the Board of Public Works be and is hereby authorized to advertise and receive bids for said project.

 

3)                     That the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to sign and grant easements or right-of-way release or procurement documents, maintenance agreements or encroachment agreements, as necessary and grant or accept dedication of lands and/or easements from/to the Developer/Owner for public improvements located outside of existing public fee title or easement right-of-ways.
