Title
Amending the 2016 Capital Budget for Engineering Major Streets in the amount of $60,000 by authorizing the Mayor and City Clerk to execute an agreement, and the Finance Director to issue a purchase order to MG&E for the undergrounding of overhead utilities along W. Johnson Street between N. Henry Street and N. Carroll Street.

Overhead electrical lines along W. Johnson Street where included in the West Johnson Street and North Henry Street Streetscape Project and undergrounding project previously approved on January 9, 2015, RES-15-00009 and also RES-14-00164 approved on March 4, 2014.
Further authorization and funding approval is required to close out the project.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Common Council hereby authorizes the Mayor and City Clerk to execute an agreement and the Finance Director to issue a purchase order to MG&E for the undergrounding of overhead utilities along W. Johnson Street.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the 2016 Capital Budget of Major Streets is hereby amended to increase budget authority in the W. Johnson and N. Henry Street Project (10322) by $60,000 funded by TID #32.
