Approving the acceptance of $14,400 in Scott RIT Paks III donated by Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation and the Ironman Foundation.

The Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation (FHSPSF) and the Ironman Foundation (IMF) partnered to provide $100,000 in grant funding for first responder groups where Ironman events take place. Wisconsin is one of the seven communities.
The Department requested six Scott Rapid Intervention Team (RIT) Paks costing a total of $14,400 and the grant has been approved.These paks will increase the number of engines carrying this firefighter life saving equipment. The Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation purchases the equipment and has it shipped directly to the Fire Department.
WHEREAS, the City has always supported the Ironman events.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council approve the acceptance of the grant of six Scott RIT Paks totaling $14,400
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that Council expresses sincere appreciation for this generous gift from the Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation and The Ironman Foundation.
