Title
Repealing a subsection of Section 28.151 and creating Sections 28.087(4)(h), 28.088(4)(c), and 28.089(4)(c) of the Madison General Ordinances to remove food and beverage uses from supplement regulations in favor of affirmatively stating the regulation in each applicable district.

DRAFTER'S ANALYSIS: “Food and Beverage uses” is a category, not a specific use for which a supplemental regulation would exist. Therefore, this amendment removes “Food and Beverage Uses” from the supplemental regulations in favor of stating the regulation in each applicable district, EC, IL, and IG.

The Common Council of the City of Madison do hereby ordain as follows:
1. The Subsection entitled “Food and Beverage Uses” of Section 28.151 entitled “Applicability” of the Madison General Ordinances is hereby repealed.
2. Subdivision (h) of Subsection (4) entitled “Site Standards” of Section 28.087 entitled “Employment Campus District” of the Madison General Ordinances is created to read as follows:
“(h) Food and beverage uses shall only be located within a mixed-use building that includes office or other employment uses.”
3. Subdivision (c) of Subsection (4) entitled “Site Standards: New and Existing Development” of Section 28.088 entitled “Industrial - Limited District” of the Madison General Ordinances is created to read as follows:
“(c) Food and beverage uses shall only be located within a mixed-use building that includes office or other employment uses.”
4. Subdivision (c) of Subsection (4) entitled “Site Standards: New and Existing Development” of
Section 28.089 entitled “Industrial - General District” of the Madison General Ordinances is created to read as follows:
“(c) Food and beverage uses shall only be located within a mixed-use building that includes office or other employment uses.”
