Creating Sections 8.24(1)(gg) and (hh) of the Madison General Ordinances to ban alcohol from Mayfair Park and Sherry (O.B.) Park.

DRAFTER'S ANALYSIS: This ordinance would extend the park alcohol ban to Mayfair Park and Sherry (O.B.) Park, except with prior approval of the Parks Division or the Parks Superintendent.

The Common Council of the City of Madison do hereby ordain as follows:
1. Subdivision (gg) of Subsection (1) entitled "Prohibition" of Section 8.24 entitled "Alcohol Beverage Control and Container Control on Certain Public Property" of the Madison General Ordinances is created to read as follows:
"(gg) Mayfair Park, except with the prior approval of the Parks Division or the Parks Superintendent."
2. Subdivision (hh) of Subsection (1) entitled "Prohibition" of Section 8.24 entitled "Alcohol Beverage Control and Container Control on Certain Public Property" of the Madison General Ordinances is created to read as follows:
"(hh) Sherry (O.B.) Park, except with the prior approval of the Parks Division or the Parks Superintendent."
