Dissolving the Ad Hoc Housing Merger Planning Committee.

Body

WHEREAS, on November 18, 2008, the Common Council adopted SUBSTITUTE Resolution RES-08-01036, ID No. 11977, which created the Ad Hoc Housing Merger Planning Committee.

WHEREAS, the Ad Hoc Housing Merger Planning Committee was charged with exploring a possible merger or coordinated operations between the City of Madison Housing Operations and the Dane County Housing Authority and further charged with developing a regional housing strategy by expanding the availability of affordable housing throughout Dane County.

WHEREAS, the Ad Hoc Housing Merger Planning Committee ceased meeting by December 2009.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Common Council authorizes the dissolution of the Ad Hoc Housing Merger Planning Committee.
