DRAFTER'S ANALYSIS:  The proposal would require city employees, other than clerical staff, who enforce federal laws to file a Statement of Interest.

The Common Council of the City of Madison do hereby ordain as follows:
      Subparagraph d. of Paragraph 5. of Subdivision (b) entitled "Disclosure of Interests; By Whom Required" of Subsection (9) entitled "Disclosure of Interests" of Section 3.35 entitled "Code of Ethics" of the Madison General Ordinances is amended to read as follows:
"d.      In regulation of activities pursuant to state or federal law or city ordinance or in enforcement of state or federal laws or city ordinances."
