Fiscal Note
This contract amendment will provide for estimated revenue of $50,000 in 2008. This revenue has been included in the Metro Transit 2008 Adopted Operating Budget.

Authorizing the Mayor and City Clerk to amend the city's agreement with Adams Outdoor Advertising to add five vehicles to the total number of buses that are authorized to participate in the two year full-wrap pilot project.
Body
WHEREAS the city's current transit advertising agreement with Adams Outdoor Advertising will expire on December 31, 2009 with a single option exercisable by Metro to extend the contract for one three-year period (January 1, 2010 to December 31, 2012); and
WHEREAS the current agreement allows Adams to sell a total of 15 fully-wrapped buses for a trial period that is scheduled to end April 1, 2009; and
WHEREAS the Common Council approved the addition of five vehicles to the total number of buses that are authorized to participate in the two year full-wrap trial program;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council authorizes the Mayor and the City Clerk to amend the city's agreement with Adams Outdoor Advertising to add five vehicles to the number of buses that are authorized to participate in the two year full-wrap pilot project, bringing that total to 20 vehicles.
