WHEREAS, Alderperson Isadore Knox, Jr. was elected on April 5, 2005 to represent the 13th District; and,
 
WHEREAS, Alderperson Isadore Knox, Jr. served on the Board of Bayview Foundation, CDA Housing Operations Subcommittee, Common Council Organizational Committee, Community Development Authority, Board of Education-Common Council Liaison Committee, Joint Southeast Campus Area Committee, Joint West Campus Area committee, Madison Housing Authority, South Madison Health and Family Center-Harambee and Henry Vilas Zoo Commission and,
 
WHEREAS, Alderperson Isadore Knox, Jr. is most proud of meeting the various needs of all his constituents by promoting minority business development on South Park Street and in South Madison, which included the Gilson Street Project, serving on the Villager Mall Ad Hoc Committee, Penn Park and also addressing neighborhood concerns regarding basic services such as traffic, noise and trash; and,
 
WHEREAS, Alderperson Isadore Knox, Jr. through his hard work and dedication to his aldermanic duties has faithfully and with honor served his constituents and the City of Madison,
 
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Mayor and the Common Council commend and thank Alderperson Isadore Knox, Jr. for his dedicated service to his constituents and the City of Madison and wish him well in all his future endeavors.
